Deploy from GitHub
Connecting a repository is the fastest path to a continuously deployed agent. Arai builds directly from your GitHub code, so shipping a change is just a push.
Connect your repository
From a project, choose Deploy from GitHub and authorize Arai to read the repository that holds your agent. Only the repositories you grant are visible — access is scoped to what you select, nothing more.
If you can't deploy into a managed project yet, you can still upload a zipped bundle of the same code. The build steps that follow are identical.
Pick a branch
Choose the branch Arai should build from — typically main for production, or a
release branch if you stage changes. Each build records the exact commit it came
from, so a deployed agent always traces back to a known point in history.
Configure the build
Arai builds from the files already in your repository — no Dockerfile required:
- An
agentconfig.jsonmanifest whoseagent_entrypointpoints at your compiled graph (module:graph), and - a
requirements.txt(named in the manifest'sdependencies) for your Python packages.
Your entrypoint must expose a compiled graph named graph. Set any secrets as
project environment variables rather than
committing them.
Automatic deploys
Once connected, a push to the chosen branch starts a new build automatically. Every build is versioned and retained, so a bad change is a one-click rollback to the previous build — never a scramble.
